Oxford professor's 'extraordinary legacy' in maternity care
Friends and colleagues of Professor Chris Redman, whose ground-breaking work saved the lives of mothers and their babies, have been celebrating his 'extraordinary legacy'.
Prof Redman, who died last month, was a world renowned pioneer in maternity care at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
He set up a dedicated maternal medicine department known as the Silver Star Unit. The model has since been replicated worldwide.
