Public to scrutinise police body cam footage
At a time when trust and confidence in our police is under greater scrutiny than ever before, ordinary members of the public are to review and check body worn video of instances where police have used force in real life. Public scrutiny of videos of stop and searches are already driving improvements. Now, more volunteers are being recruited across Oxfordshire and Berkshire to examine use of force as well. Our Home Affairs Correspondent, Nikki Mitchell went along to a scenario-based training session for Thames Valley response officers.
