Oxford’s Covered Market is celebrating its 250th birthday with a year full of different events.

The market was originally built in 1774 to tidy up the streets by moving stalls to an inside space and has been a ‘one stop shop’ for food, flowers, clothes, coffee and more ever since.

Locals and traders have been reminiscing on their memories of the Covered Market.
