WHO head: 'Peace is the best medicine'
The head of the World Health Organization (WHO) tells 麻豆社 Radio 4's Today programme that "peace is the best medicine" in a rare interview about the health crises he is seeing that are caused by war.
Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus speaks to Mishal Husain from Adre in Chad, which is right on the border with Sudan after a trip into the country to see the impact of more than a year of civil war.
He also speaks about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and about Mpox, the virus that has caused hundreds of deaths this year in central Africa.
