Rising rents and an increase in the cost of living are pricing older tenants out of the property they have called home for years. Iona Bain meets retired hospital worker Heather who lived in her home for five years until her landlord sent her a section 21 notice with no reason provided. After the property failed to sell Heather was offered the opportunity to stay but with a 拢125 per month increase in rent, which she simply couldn't afford. No-fault evictions like Heather's are set to be banned under new legislation. Iona meets the charity offering those retired low-cost community聽housing.
