Lincolnshire transplant list doubles in five years
The number of people in Lincolnshire waiting for an organ transplant has doubled in the last five years.
It's despite a change to the law, which requires people to opt out if they do not consent to organ donation rather than opting in if they do.
NHS figures also show more families are saying no, when asked by hospital staff about donating a relative's organs. It's thought one of the reasons for this is that they haven't been told about their relative's wishes.
