A new mural called 'Roots' has been unveiled at Bradford's MAPA Cultural Arts Centre. The wall art is the newest contribution to a Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture initiative called BD Walls. It honours musician, community leader and businessman, Mikey Roots who was known for his work across various community groups, including a Boy Scouts club with its own Rastafari-coloured necktie. The artist who painted the mural, Peachzz, speaks to Toby Foster about how the mural has been created.
