"We've really seen a dip in morale"
The savings that need to be found this financial year by Shropshire Council equate to 拢191 per resident, which is more than any other council in England, according to 麻豆社 research published today. The council is blaming a rise in the demand for services for its financial hardship. Unison, the biggest union representing council workers, say they're seeing a "dip in people" wanting to work in the council sector.
