Robot helps pick Essex strawberries
A robot which can pick strawberries has been successfully tested on a farm in Essex.
The prototype which has been designed and built by engineers at the University of Essex, is helping tackle a labour shortage within the agricultural industry.
Andrey Ivanov is from Wilkin and Sons in Tiptree, where the technology has been trialled over the last two seasons....
