Essex’s first female paramedic retires
Sally Pattie quit her office job and became Essex’s first female paramedic in 1980.
She then spent 44 years in the East of England Ambulance Service, mostly based in Ongar.
Now retired, Sally says she will spend her time walking her dog and playing golf.
