Uproar as leaves cause rail service disruption
Rail users in Swinderby are unhappy at a reduction in services because of leaves on the line.
East Midlands Railway will have fewer trains stopping at the station, between Lincoln and Newark, in a bid to cut down on timetable delays.
It says fallen autumn leaves make rails slippery, so it is harder for trains to accelerate and brake effectively, meaning drivers have to pull out of stations more slowly and brake much earlier.
