Woman gets fly-tipping fine after rubbish stolen
A woman from Boston says she and her partner have been fined 拢1,200 for fly-tipping after a bin bag was taken from outside their home and its contents dumped a short distance away.
Abigail Swinn, who has reported the theft of the rubbish to police, says they felt "helpless" after each receiving 拢600 fixed penalty notices.
Boston Borough Council, which issued the fines, said it took environmental crime "very seriously" and would review the case if contacted.
