Passport woes limit Barnsley 'Karate Kid'

14 Year old Mayon from Barnsley has had his karate championship dreams 鈥榡eopardised鈥� due to a pending passport application. Despite being born in the UK, Mayon is currently a registered asylum seeker from Sri Lanka. His parents applied for citizenship in 2020 and are still awaiting a response from The Home Office.
