Crewe FC have successfully got planning permission for a brand new 3G pitch in the town after delays put the 拢1.3m scheme at risk. Chairman Steve Parker says it will massively increase opportunity for young people in Crewe. Cheshire East Council, who approved the plans, say it's pleased to be working with the club and the Football Foundation on this. The Football Foundation say Crewe FC鈥檚 application for funding is still being considered for approval. We expect a final decision within the next month.
