Thurrock Council are trying to clamp down on dangerous parking during school drop-off and pick-up times, after seven-hundred parking charges were handed out at schools in the 2023 to 2024 academic year.

Fatima Rodrigues is the principal at The Hathaway Academy in Grays, and says parents will sometimes drop their children off whilst their vehicle is still moving.
