Woman calls for 'Stoma-friendly' station toilets
A Lincoln woman is calling for all railway stations to introduce "stoma-friendly toilets".
Emma Sellars has had a stoma bag for six years following a diagnosis of ulcerative colitis, a condition which affects the intestines. She says she has only ever found one toilet suitable for her needs and wants to see improvements, starting at her local station.
East Midlands Railway, which is responsible for the facilities at Lincoln station, says it will look at Emma's concerns but has no short-term plans to improve the toilets there.
