Dogs supporting young people on the Isle of Wight
As nominations open for the Make a Difference Awards 2025 open, 麻豆社 Radio Solent have been catching up with some of last year's nominees.
Carol Court, the founder of Ability Dogs 4 Young People, was a finalist for the Animal Award last year. 麻豆社 Radio Solent's Tom Stroud met puppy parent Catherine Eriksson from Ability Dogs 4 Young People.
Do you know of an animal that improves the life of an individual or group of people or a person or group of people working with animals to improve animal welfare?
If you do, you could nominate them for a 麻豆社 Radio Solent Make a Difference Award.
For a full list of categories - and details of how to nominate someone - go to bbc.co.uk/makeadifference, where you can also see full Terms and our Privacy Notice.
Nominations are open now and close on the 31st March 2025 at 5pm.
The winners will be announced at our Make a Difference awards ceremony in September.
