The 12 year old caring for emergency services
12-year-old Mae from Cowley is autistic. It means she worries a lot about people and wants to do her best to help them and make sure they're OK.
During the pandemic, Mae started to get concerned about our emergency services - so much so, that she took it upon herself to make them special hampers full of treats and deliver them personally.
Over the last 4 years, Mae has continued to do this and has now been recognised with a special award from the Fire Service.
They sent Mae a letter inviting her to a big ceremony in April where she'll get her award - so, we went to Mae's house to find out more...
