Otters return to Ewhurst Park after almost 70 years
Ewhurst Park owner Mandy Lieu bought the estate five years ago and turned it into a rewilding project. Since then, nature has bounced back, with wildlife thriving and water quality improving. Ninety species of birds visited the park in 2024, and recently otters returned after the numbers dropped off dramatically in the 1950s. 麻豆社 Radio Berkshire's Phil Mercer spoke to Mandy about what drives her to do this work.
