Lichen Sclerosus is a long-term skin condition that can affect women and men of all ages, but according to the NHS website, it鈥檚 most common in young girls and women over the age of 50.

Lichen Sclerosus can cause vulvar cancer in very rare cases.

Clare now campaigns to raise awareness after finally being diagnosed with Lichen Sclerosus along with vulvar cancer aged 43.

Speaking to 5 Live鈥檚 Naga Munchetty, she said: 鈥淚t鈥檚 hard because it鈥檚 a condition that affects an area where you鈥檝e got to walk, sit, go to the toilet, have sex, have children. You can鈥檛 really forget about it.鈥�

鈥淚t affects your mental health, as well as your physical health.鈥�
