Bournemouth artist, Dhanraz Ramdharry, has painted a full-sized portrait of the town's mayor, George Farquhar.

It is speculated to be the first full-sized portrait of a Bournemouth mayor in almost a century.

The two bonded over their shared love of their rescue dogs, and decided that to sit for a portrait with Farquhar's greyhound.

Dhanraz spoke to Radio Solent's Steve Harris.
