Frankie Bridge: ‘We're still making women feel bad for putting themselves first'
Frankie Bridge, The Saturdays singer and Loose Women presenter - joined Nuala McGovern on Woman’s Hour on Tuesday to talk about the backlash on social media she’s received for taking a holiday without her children.
She says she was called ‘the worst wife and mother’ despite her mother & husband looking after her two sons.
Frankie told Nuala why she felt that the comments about her parenting showed the ‘double standards’ for women, and why she thinks mums shouldn’t feel guilty for taking a break.
You can listen to the full interview on the Â鶹Éç Sounds app - it’s the Woman’s Hour episode from 11 March.
