I'm proud to call myself a refugee
Andrew Kueth now lives in Shrewsbury, but is originally from South Sudan. In 2013 he was forced to flee his country due to civil war. He was nine years old.
It was the start of an eight-year journey across two continents and thousands of miles which would see him survive beatings in jail and two sinkings in the Mediterranean. He has now made Shrewsbury his home having been granted permission to remain in the United Kingdom.
Andrew told his story to 麻豆社 Radio Shropshire's Adam Green.
