A deal has been done to build a luxury hotel in Manchester, backed by the Hollywood actor Robert De Niro.

It will have 160 rooms and will be based in what's expected to be the tallest building in the UK outside of London.

The plans are expected to be approved in the next few months.

Simon Ismail is from the developers Salboy, he says the demand for city-centre living is huge.
