Covid-19: The sound of lockdown in the South
Five years ago Boris Johnson announced the first coronavirus lockdown in the UK, and life as we knew it came to a standstill. That first lockdown would be followed by two more national lockdowns, in November 2020 and January 2021, before the vaccine finally led to the lifting of all Covid restrictions in the summer of 2021.
In this soundscape we reflect on the rules, restrictions, community and commentary from this unprecedented moment in history.
