David was stabbed repeatedly by his mother at their home on 4 November 2010, the day of a court hearing to decide if he should be taken into care. It was just before his 10th birthday.
He claims the warning signs were missed and is calling for lessons to be learnt. He wants official reports into cases like his to be more widely shared.
