Health Minister defends infrastructure project
For many, many years one of the greatest frustrations for islanders has been the failure of successive governments to deliver big infrastructure projects. The new hospital and the regeneration of fort regent are some of the most high profile examples. This government wants to change that by launching a new investment programme to regenerate the island with big infrastructure projects. However, it is unclear how this will all be funded and why the health minister instead of the infrastructure minister is in charge of it. Our political reporter Ammar Ebrahim has been speaking to the politicians involved.
