Harpenden ‘dead’ after ‘horrendous’ parking fees
Harpenden Town Council says it’s considering taking legal action. But St Albans City and District Council, which introduced the parking charges, says data from the first month of operation shows on-street parking remains a highly popular choice of town centre visitors. Report by Holly Nichols.
