Endometriosis diagnosis: 'I'm still just waiting'
Eight years - that's how long it takes to get an endometriosis diagnosis on average.
It's thought one in ten women in Berkshire are affected by the condition, where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows elsewhere in the body.
The government says it is investing 拢26bn in the NHS to cut wait times from 18 months to a maximum of 18 weeks.
24-year-old Maisie Scott from Ascot has been visiting doctors with her abdominal pain since she was at school - she tells 麻豆社 Radio Berkshire's Phil Mercer about her experience.
