Row over future of Sheffield鈥檚 taxis
Sheffield Taxi drivers are frustrated by plans to make signs on their vehicles permanent.
Sheffield City Council say they've consulted on a proposal for front door signage to be made permanent.
They say this is in line with Department for Transport best practice, which states that 鈥淟icensing authorities鈥 private hire vehicle signage requirements should be limited to the authority licence plate or disc and a 鈥減re-booked only鈥 door sign.鈥
