Southend Airshow 'could return soon'
A seafront airshow that once attracted crowds of up to 400,000 people could return, under new plans to boost tourism. The first annual Southend Airshow took place in 1986 and was held every year until 2012, at which point organisers said it had become too costly.
But would those living in the Essex seaside city and local businesses welcome the event back?
