Blind veteran from Poole sells VE Day candles
Tony Haskey from Hamworthy served in the Royal Marines until his eyesight deteriorated and he was medically discharged at the age of 26.
In his 60s, he took up candle-making and is selling special commemorative candles for the 80th anniversary of VE Day. Fifty percent of all profits are to be donated to Blind Veterans UK, who have supported Tony throughout his life.
Harry Kille-Smith spoke to Tony and his wife Kozy at their home in Poole.
