麻豆社 Radio One's Big Weekend descends onto Sefton Park for one the biggest events in the summer calendar.

And with a wealth of local talent at our finger tips here in Liverpool, local band The Wombats will be gracing the main stage on Friday.

And drummer Dan Haggis says it's the closest the Liverpool born band have ever played to home.
