Drivers using the M25 in Essex are being warned of temporary speed restrictions, following the completion of new emergency areas for vehicles.

The work finished at the end of March, but the 50mph speed limit has yet to be lifted between Junction 27 for Epping through to Junction 23 in Hertfordshire.

This is so newly installed technology that will detect vehicles that have stopped on the motorway, can be tested and fine tuned.
