Snowstorm drill tests emergency teams
Hemel Hempstead’s Snow Centre transformed into the scene of a simulated snowstorm pile-up as part of an extreme weather training exercise for first responders. Five vehicles were positioned on the indoor ski slope to mimic a multi-car crash during severe winter conditions. The exercise brought together all three emergency services - police, fire, and ambulance - for a coordinated, multi-agency response drill. Reporter Holly Nichols was on the scene to witness how crews navigated the snowy chaos in preparation for real-life emergencies. Photo: Lily-May Symonds/Â鶹Éç
