Shannon Lane lives on board a relatively tiny 30ft canal boat in East London, and continuously cruises along the canals of London. She's part of a growing community of younger Londoners turning to boating life.

She also hosts ‘live’ performances by local musicians on her boat on a weekly basis, which she then shares on Tik Tok.

So what made Shannon swap dry land for a more transient life onboard a boat? And how is it?
