'Giant fridge' is upsetting people in Nechells
Residents living in Nechells in Birmingham say they feel frustrated by the construction of a huge metal cooling facility being built 45 metres away from their homes.
According to their planning document, the building is going to be a large rectangular box with a footprint of approximately 87 metres by 35 metres, and a height of 21 metres- which is 68ft.
It is being built by Wing Yip Supermarket, who said it needs to be that high to provide internal storage space for the business.
But locals say it's an eyesore, that will block views from their windows, and the sun.
