Ex-Blues & Latics defender Peter Clarke on play-off final
Former Southend United and Oldham Athletic defender Peter Clarke says he'll have a foot in both camps ahead of the National League play-off final at Wembley Stadium.
The 43-year-old played at Roots Hall from 2006 to 2009, making 150 appearances.
He joined the Latics in 2016 for a three-year stint before returning for 18 games in the 2022/23 season.
Clarke told 麻豆社 Essex Morning host Ben Fryer that it is 'great to be looking at both teams and seeing them do so well'.
The defender was playing for Warrington Town most recently in the 2024/25 National League North campaign - and is 12 games away from his 1,000th career match.
