Zia Yusuf: Reform UK row 'storm in a teacup'
Reform UK's Zia Yusuf says he might support a ban of face coverings in public after previously calling a Reform UK MP's call to ban the burka 鈥渄umb鈥.
Speaking to Today鈥檚 Nick Robinson, he says would 鈥減robably be in favour of banning face coverings in public writ large鈥 if he was an MP.
It comes after the former party chairman resigned, saying in a social media post that trying to get the party elected was not "a good use of my time".
However, two days later, he said he had come back to lead the party's unit tasked with identifying spending cuts at councils, which is inspired by Elon Musk's US Department of Government Efficiency.
