Swan rescue at Gedling Country Park
A swan rescue operation took place at Gedling Country Park over the weekend after a lagoon there completely dried up following a bout of warm weather.
The bird was born at the park last year and has lived in the same spot ever since, until it was pictured trying to swim in a tiny puddle of water where the pond used to be.
Our reporter Maddy Bull spoke to to Anna Healey- who's one of the locals that's been working hard to get the swan moved to a new home.
