Should The Highway Code include pothole guidance?
Drivers and commuters are no strangers to potholes, but Paul Whitburn, a driving instructor who's been teaching for 16 years, says more learner drivers are swerving away from them, putting themselves at risk.
He says the roads keep getting worse, as he has to spend more time teaching learners how to avoid them safely.
A Nottinghamshire County Council highways manager said: "We monitor the condition of all roads in Nottinghamshire through routine inspections and reports of defects we receive from residents and road users. We ask that residents continue to report potholes to us either through our website or the MyNOTTS App."
Our reporter Miya Chahal met Paul for a driving lesson to see what it's like out on the road.
