Mohammad Amir took three wickets as Essex fell just short at Middlesex in the T20 Blast.
Essex are still without win in the T20 Blast, following the one run defeat at Lords.
The Eagles kept their hosts total to 161 and were cruising in their reply at 106-2 ....but fell short in the chase -- needing 4 runs off the final ball to win.
