David Lammy: US-Iran can 'only be dealt with in diplomacy'
Foreign Secretary David Lammy says the conflict between the US and Iran can 'only be dealt with in diplomacy'.
When asked by Today's Justin Webb if the military action by the US was the right thing to do, he said: "We weren't involved in the military action.
"This has to be dealt with diplomatically."
It's understood that Sir Keir Starmer has spoken to US President Donald Trump in the wake of US strikes on Iran's nuclear sites, and Iran's military vows a "decisive response" after Trump says US strikes caused "monumental damage".
