A new croquet club in Prittlewell has been enjoying rapid growth since being set up in April.
Tony Butcher and Mick Despy reached out to the Bowls Club when they noticed two of the rinks were not being used.
A couple of months, they say playing on the greens is like 'comparing a Mini to a Rolls Royce' compared to their last venue, which has attracted new membership to the club.
Warren Muggleton met Tony, Mick and his wife Cris to have a go at croquet.
