101-year-old former Wren honoured

A Nottinghamshire woman who served in The Royal Navy during World War Two has been honoured for her efforts. Thelma Redman from Farnsfield celebrated her 101st birthday with neighbours, who threw a surprise party for her, which was attended by a serving Naval Commander.
