Maldon hospital future is decided
Campaigners say they are relieved that many health services are staying at St Peter's Hospital in Maldon. The stroke unit is moving from Maldon to Rochford and Brentwood, while most of the maternity unit will move to Braintree.
Many outpatient services are due to remain at the site for another 5 years, when they'll be replaced by a new health hub. Freya Beckett is one of those who campaigned to save the 151-year-old building from closure...
