From iPads to Imagination: The push to get kids reading begins in Liverpool
If you鈥檙e a parent or carer, then you may well have asked yourself this question: how do I get my little one to take an interest in books and to enjoy stories?
And nowadays, with a world dominated by smartphones and tablets, it鈥檚 quite a challenge.
But with nearly 40% of local 5-year-olds starting school without the language and communication skills they need, it鈥檚 a challenge families and schools need to rise to.
Well, an event took place at the Five Children鈥檚 Trust in Speke, where The National Literacy Trust launched their聽 three-year initiative to boost children鈥檚
early language and communication skills.
