New on-demand bus service comes to Wychavon
With no fixed routes or timetables, the new service is designed for passenger flexibility, connecting users to vehicles and their final destination via an app.
The Worcestershire On-Demand service is capped per user at 15km, with all prospective passengers needing to do is add in their start and final locations, and let the app match them up to a bus stop and vehicle. The app will also identify the vehicle's colour and number plate.
Travel is free in August, with fares rising to 拢2.50 per person per journey, with an extra 拢1.25 for additional passengers.
Emma Davies reports, from Bishampton, Evesham and Fladbury.
