Gavin & Stacey star coming to Hereford
Larry Lamb, who played patriarch Mick Shipman, is showcasing his writing at a brand new festival, coming to Hereford as the first of its kind in September 2025.
He tells Elliott Webb how his performance will include sharing stories and his favourite war poems at the inaugural Hereford Military History Festival, an interest he picked up from his father, who served in the Second World War in the RAF.
Reflecting on Gavin & Stacey, he shares how he enjoyed playing a character in a comedy series, how he's satisfied how the story has come to an end, and how he still struggles to believe how big the series became.
