European leaders hold a virtual meeting with Trump before the US president meets Putin.
Today, we鈥檙e looking at a virtual meeting between European leaders and Donald Trump, two days before he meets his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Alaska to discuss ending the war in Ukraine.
Trump said afterwards that Russia would face "very severe" consequences unless it halted its war in Ukraine.
Alex joins to talk about the UK鈥檚 involvement, Ukrainecast鈥檚 Vitaly Shevchenko is with Adam in the studio, and Europe correspondent James Waterhouse is in Berlin, where Volodymyr Zelensky was with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
